Author of Enrique’s Journey talks about struggles of immigration
This article speaks about a book called “Enriques journey“. In which a young man explicitly tells his story of the things he lived while trying to come to America, to find his mother. Despite this, not only he went through this journey, but Nazarrio the author of the book took the journey as well, she re encounters here experience and tells us how these people go through, rape, robbery , deportation and even death, this experience let her psychologically paranoid she quotes “When I returned the first time, I had this nightmare that there were scavengers on top of the train trying to rape me, and I had to go into therapy to be able to get rid of that fear…I felt tense and filthy and a fear of being robbed or raped or beaten a lot of days on this train.” As well how the increase on children illegal immigration has arose form 48, 000 since she started to write her book till now this number has doubled to about 100.000 kids come alone each year. This book will be used in the freshman reading program to create awareness of this global issue and to bring new students together.
My outlook in regards this reading comes into a unique and mind changing perspective, I use to believe, that these people didn’t deserve the right to come to this country and obtain their legal status, if they cross the border illegally, which I believe was fair enough, after reading this short but rich of details article made me believe that the experiences, dangers and even psychological changes that these people encounter , specially kids, should be granted at least a temporary visa until they are stable enough to go back to their country, or until they find a family member. I consider that some of this “Judgmental Americans”, put them selves in these human beings shoes and realize that poverty, lack governmental support, and many other things are the reasons why these people come here, to get a better future, to work, and to provide for their family member.

illegal immigration let's talk about it
In this article Sofi Seck, argues that, since the media, American citizens, authors, and many other source of information or communication, give negative feed back on the whole matter of illegal immigration, she will not discuss them, instead she wants to speak about the things that can be done to stop this whole “human trafficking“. Seck suggest that punishing people who tend to hire illegal immigrants, by sending them to jail, closing their business, or even giving them a fine, this solution she believes would make them less likely to get hire , and less likely for them to come to America, due to the lack of jobs, which is indeed the primary reason why they come here. She also argues that instead of building a fence, or this huge wall that’s going to cost thousands and thousands of dollars and that is disgusting a degrading, that tends to perceive these people as if they were animals, and still wont prevent desperate people to climb it , when there is a job marketing waiting for them on the other side. The government itself is crucial in this issue, if there is more governmental support, in these countries, less immigrants would be force to come here to seek a better future. These people don’t come here to take American citizens job, they come here because they are victim of the circumstances they go through due to their government and they economical crisis. These people are victims of racial abuse, to people who whom they have never done any wrong, and have live in horrible conditions just to provide for their families.
In my opinion, Just as Seck, said and argues, instead of us arguing the positive and the negative sides of the illegal immigrants, we need to stop pointing fingers, and instead look for a solution to the problems. Americas mentally in the whole job stealing has to change because we clearly know that the jobs done by this illegal immigrants a legal person would never due, specially at the wages they getting are paid. The whole security measure are not working either which shows that out government is not doing their jobs, and all they are doing is wasting , money and time. We know that these people wont stop coming illegally to America unless, problems coming from their own country are not fix first, specially economic problems.

The purpose of this blog
The purpose of this blog is to enlight my readers and inviting them into this world of hardship and invite them into this world of hardship and to bring notice of this social issue. through this blog i would like to demonstrate the other side of the story. the journeys encountered, and obstacles such as robbery rape and even death.
Through this blog i would also like to bring compassion and comprehension from my readers perspective. Over all find some solution to help prevent these people from migrating to the United States.
Hopefully this blog would change peoples mind on illegal immigrants. Instead of treating them like outsiders, animals or less then Americans. they would begin to get treated with respect and rights like everyone else.
